Serving homes and
businesses in Bridgend
Complete Composite Doors Windows and Repairs is based in Bridgend, so this is where the business started in May 2019 and where Josh does much of his work. Whether you are in the centre of town, out towards Porthcawl on the coast or up in the valley communities, you deal with a local installer who knows the area.
Because we are based in Bridgend, the whole county borough is on our doorstep. That makes it easier to fit in surveys and, when something urgent happens, emergency call-outs for broken glass and lock failures.
We cover: Bridgend town, Porthcawl, Maesteg, Pencoed, Pyle, Kenfig Hill, Brackla, Litchard, Coity and the Llynfi, Garw and Ogmore valleys.
Property types in Bridgend
Bridgend has a real mix of housing: stone and brick terraces in the valley communities and older parts of town, post-war semis, large modern estates around Brackla and Broadlands, and coastal homes in Porthcawl. Each brings different window openings, door sizes and fitting challenges.
Common jobs in Bridgend
Common jobs in Bridgend include replacing tired front and back doors with Hallmark Panels composite doors, swapping older double glazing for new uPVC windows, fixing misted glass units, and repairing locks and handles on doors that have seen years of use.

Local issues
Common window and door
problems in Bridgend
Valley terraces
Older terraces in the Llynfi, Garw and Ogmore valleys often have openings that are not perfectly square. Windows and doors need careful measuring so they fit properly first time.
Coastal weather in Porthcawl
Homes near the coast face wind-driven rain and salty air, which is hard on seals, hinges and locks. Good fitting and sound sealing matter more here.
Estate homes reaching the age for replacement
Many homes on Bridgend's larger estates still have their original double glazing, and those units and seals are now wearing out, showing as misting and draughts.
Wet South Wales winters
Regular rain means failed gutters and fascias quickly show up as damp on walls. Keeping the roofline sound protects the rest of the house.
