Serving homes and
businesses in Swansea
We work across Swansea, from terraces around Uplands and Brynmill to family homes in Sketty, Morriston and out towards Mumbles and Gower. One Swansea customer on MyBuilder urgently needed a door panel replacement, got in touch on the day, and had a new panel fitted that afternoon.
Swansea is a straightforward run west from our base in Bridgend along the M4, so surveys and repairs across the city are part of our regular area. Emergency call-outs are available for broken glass and lock failures.
We cover: Swansea city centre, Sketty, Uplands, Mumbles, Morriston, Gorseinon, Clydach, Pontarddulais and the Gower.
Property types in Swansea
Swansea's housing ranges from Victorian and Edwardian terraces on the hillsides above the city, to inter-war and post-war semis, to coastal homes around Mumbles and the Gower and modern developments on the edges of the city.
Common jobs in Swansea
In Swansea, common requests include replacing draughty windows in older terraces, fitting new composite front doors, replacing door panels, and fixing glass units that have misted up.

Local issues
Common window and door
problems in Swansea
Hillside terraces
Many Swansea terraces are built on steep streets, with older openings that have moved over time. Measuring accurately matters so new windows and doors fit without large gaps.
Coastal exposure
Homes near Swansea Bay, Mumbles and the Gower take the brunt of wind and rain off the sea, which wears seals and hardware faster.
Bay windows
Bay windows are common on older Swansea homes. They need careful surveying because each section meets at an angle and the structure above must be supported.
Damp from failed guttering
Swansea is one of the wetter parts of the UK. Leaking gutters and rotten fascias quickly lead to damp walls.
